How do I get into this career?

To become an architect, you’ll need a bachelor’s degree in architecture. From there you’ll go on to study a master’s degree accredited by the Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA). Practical experience through internships is highly valued while studying. Graduates will then undertake 2 years of supervised practice. You must then pass the Architectural Practice Examination to register with Queensland’s Architect Registration Board and become a registered architect.
