Builders lead construction teams and work alongside architects, engineers, and other experts to construct buildings. They are responsible for ensuring that projects meet client needs and will oversee planning to completion.

How do I get into this career?
The most common pathway is via an apprenticeship in either Carpentry or Brick and Blocklaying. After becoming qualified, you can apply for a builder’s license through the Queensland Building and Construction Commission.
