CHECK OUT HARRY’S PATHWAY
Destined to be
a Carpenter
Since he was 11 years old, he knew the trade and wanted to follow in his dad’s footsteps. Even being academically capable, top of his class in maths and having other question his decision for the trades, he still knew an apprenticeship was the way to go!
Harry says“You’ll see in any boss or business owner, they value the academic side of the apprentice.”
The value of academia in
learning the trades
Harry is a perfect example of how having perfect grades shouldn’t deter you from the trades. In fact, he knows how important and valued having great academic skills can be in the construction industry, especially as a carpenter.
Harry says“It’s really what separates the everyday carpenter, from the top-notch carpenter.”
Fishing for
future success
Born into a life of fishing and adventure, the early starts and finishes of trade life fit perfectly well for Harry. He’s got the time to go for a fish with his family, a swim, or even an afternoon hike, finishing work at around 3pm.
"Fishing is a huge part of my life and something I can’t go without. Finishing in the afternoon gives me the time to do this.”
