- An immersive, weeklong program that exposes students to the full lifecycle of a civil construction project.
- Designed to inspire STEM-focused young women to pursue careers in civil construction.
How do they work?
- Students apply competitively to secure a place.
- Selected students participate in a 5-day immersive program during the school holidays.
- Throughout the week, teams act as construction companies to deliver a bridge project – covering tendering, estimating, building and handover.
- A graduation ceremony and career market feature industry leaders and university representatives.
- Participants may join a 12-month mentorship program with experienced young women in the industry.
- Construction Pathways supplies all necessary personal protective equipment (PPE), including a high – vis vest, hard hat, safety glasses and ear plugs.
