Ashley’s passion for building started at an early age. When she was younger, Ashley and her mum would renovate properties together – and she loved it! So, once school was done, she knew straight away her career was in carpentry.
Ashley says“The gratification of knowing that after the apprenticeship, you’ll have a high paying salary. There’s no ceiling on that benefit.”

After getting her certificate III in Carpentry, Ashely didn’t stop there. She went on to get her builders license and started running her own business. She praises the variety of options construction gives people, so anyone can succeed in the industry!
Ashley says"There’s other options than university pathways, that are just as rewarding and enjoyable.”
big future goals
Ashley isn’t slowing down anything soon. She loves putting in the hard work and staying busy, in hopes to be financially free for when she has kids and retire in her 40s. All because of the dedication to her trade and business. It’s the short-term sacrifice for long term gains!
